The World is the last numbered card of the Major Arcana — and it is not an ending but an arrival. The Fool began with pure potential. The World is that potential fully realized. You have completed the cycle. And now, at the threshold, a new Fool's Journey is already beginning.

The Card

A dancing figure — neither fully male nor female, representing wholeness beyond duality — is surrounded by a green laurel wreath bound with red ribbons (victory through mastery of both polarities). In each corner: the four fixed zodiac signs (Aquarius, Scorpio, Leo, Taurus) — the same four guardians from the Wheel of Fortune, but here they are still and witnessing completion. The figure holds two wands, one in each hand — the same tools The Magician held, but now wielded with mastery rather than aspiration. This is the integration of all that came before.
