Life Path Number: How to Calculate Yours and What 1–9 Mean

The most important number in numerology is the Life Path Number. Calculated from your birth date, this number carries the path you walk in this lifetime, your innate tendencies, and the recurring themes you repeatedly encounter in life.

How to Calculate Your Life Path Number

Reduce the year, month, and day of your birth date separately, then add the results.

Example: November 15, 1988
Year: 1+9+8+8 = 26 → 2+6 = 8
Month: 1+1 = 2 (Master Number 11 → keep as 11)
Day: 1+5 = 6
Sum: 8 + 11 + 6 = 25 → 2+5 = 7
→ This person's Life Path Number is 7.

💡 Master Number Note: If 11, 22, or 33 appears when reducing the month, day, or year, do not reduce further. Only assess Master Number status at the final sum step.
